Cloakroom Makeover!

Whilst pupils and staff left for half term on Friday 14th February, Optimum, our Cloakroom Refurbishment Specialists moved in for the week! The photos indicate the before, during and after. Stig of the Dump

Pupils were treated to a live performance of ‘Stig of the Dump in school by Image Musical Theatre on Friday 14th February, which was great! Some pupils were dressed as actors and had parts to do, whilst the rest of the school needed to join in the fun with their singing and applauding!


Trees Planted on the Field

Today saw Gail, our school gardener, along with some of her colleagues, digging up part of our school field, to plants some trees. The pupils have been very curious about this, but there is a very simple answer. We have had them planted to provide natural shelter from the sun in the Summer, so we can sit outside and not swelter in the blazing

Harvest Festival.

On 15th of October it was our Harvest Festival celebration. All children across the school donated food that was used as a focal point during our KS1 Harvest Assembly. Shelter makeover!

Over the course of the next few weeks the shelter area outside of Y6 will be undergoing a dramatic makeover.  The concept behind the makeover is to provide the children with a ‘Quiet Corner’ to escape the hustle and bustle of breaktime in favour of reading a book, playing board games, colouring, crafting or doing a puzzle.
