Year 3 were invited to attend the annual Community Carol Service held by the Rotary Club. The event took place at the Leisure Centre in the town centre. On 7th December, Key Stage One staff and children went to visit Father Christmas in his grotto at the Locomotion Museum, Shildon.

The children had a spotty start to the school day this morning. The effort the children made was fantastic to see. With all of them having to donate £1 for the privilege of wearing something spotty, Children in Need will be a few pounds better off. Well done to all the parents for their support.
A huge harvest thank you to all who donated food to create this massive harvest feast. The donations will be collected by the Newton Aycliffe Foodbank in the next couple of days.
